About our Owner

A native of Mecklenburg County, Matthew Gibson has been active in the electrical industry since 1997. Matthew’s family has extensive experience as electricians, carpenters and land developers. This has afforded him a unique view of all aspects of the construction industry. As owner of Gibson’s Electrical & Lighting, Matthew has wired and remodeled some of the most exclusive homes in Charlotte and the Lake Norman area. He has over 15 years of business ownership and management experience.

Matthew holds a Unlimited Electrical Contracting License with the State of North Carolina and is OSHA-10 certified. He has ten years experience as an EMT-D. Matthew is happily married to his wife Tabitha  and has two wonderful boys Ethan and Evan.
